The Ultimate Fighting Championship is one step away from knocking out an law that ostensibly bans popular mixed martial arts like the UFC from staging live shows in Canada.
Senate Bill S-209, which would make martial arts like judo, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, kickboxing and karate, and mixed martial arts competitions legal in Canada for the first time, began its first House of Commons committee airing today without much of a fight.
